Haven’t found that special Christmas gift or home decoration? Then come to the 42nd Annual Christmas Craft Show at the H.O. Weeks Center in Aiken, SC and get your shopping done! On Friday, November 30th and Saturday December 1st, The City of Aiken will host its’ 42nd Annual Christmas Craft Show. The show will feature exhibitors from all over the Southeast. Crafts will include wood furniture, paintings, baked goods, jewelry, holiday ornaments, ceramics, needlepoint creations, pottery and other unique items. All crafts are handmade by the artists and guaranteed to set your gift giving apart from others.
While you are shopping, take some time out to enjoy a wonderful meal. There will be great southern BBQ, hamburgers, corndogs and the traditional American hotdog! If a snack is all you are hungry for, then be sure to enjoy some kettle popcorn, boiled peanuts or funnel cakes.
Kids can have fun too! On Saturday, December 1st, Santa Claus is coming to town and he’s giving all his good boys and girls a chance to take a picture with him before he goes back to the North Pole. Parents are reminded that no outside cameras are allowed in Santa Land. Children will also get a chance to make their own free holiday craft. “Crafts for Kids”, invites children to design and take home their holiday craft and share it with family and friends. Times for “Crafts for kids” and pictures with Santa Claus are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The show hours are 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday. This is an inside/outside show so dress warm if the weather is chilly. Admission and parking are free. For more information call 642-7631.
