City of Aiken Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR)

The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report is presented in three sections: introductory, financial, and statistical. The introductory section includes a description of the history of Aiken, a statement of our beliefs, a list of major awards, a Profile of the City, this transmittal letter, City Council Goals, the City's organizational chart, and a list of principal officers and city officials. The Financial Section is composed of the auditor’s report, management’s discussion and analysis (MD&A), the basic financial statements, notes to the financial statements, and more detailed combining and individual fund financial statements and schedules and other supplementary financial data. The statistical section includes selected financial and demographic information, generally presented on a multi-year basis.
