THE FARMERS MARKET IN THE ALLEY DURING THE MONTH OF JUNE
Every Thursday evening during the month of June, the Farmer’s Market will move to The Alley from 5-7PM.
Stop by to purchase farm-fresh veggies and fruits, flowers and plants, and baked goods and crafts, all while enjoying live music! Local businesses will have extended hours as well. Don’t forget about our permanent location on Richland Avenue which is open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8 am-12 pm or until the farmers sell out. We hope you’ll join us and support your local farmers and businesses.
THE FARMERS MARKET AT 115 WILLIAMSBURG STREET
The Aiken County Farmers Market at 115 Williamsburg St. will be open from 5 p. m. to 7 p. m. on Thursdays during June.
The Aiken County Farmers Market is the oldest farmers market in continuous service in the same location in South Carolina. The market structure at 115 Williamsburg St. near downtown Aiken was constructed in 1954. Farmers and their families built the 45 tables that are still in use today. Owned and operated by the City of Aiken, the market is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from sunrise to noon.
Produce at the market shelter will include beans, beets, blackberries, blueberries, broccoli, cabbage, cantaloupes, cucumbers, greens, onions, peaches, peas, peppers, radishes, squash, strawberries, sweet corn, tomatoes, watermelons and zucchini. Eggs, baked goods and crafts also will be available.
We encourage shoppers to visit the Williamsburg market shelter as well as a visit to the Market in the Alley. Below are applications for potential vendors.
