Aiken Business Coalition Entrepreneurship Program Completes Phase One

Aiken, SC – The Aiken Business Coalition, Greater Augusta Black Chamber of Commerce, The City of Aiken, The Greater Aiken Chamber of Commerce, and the Aiken County Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) announce the conclusion of the first phase of the Aiken Business Coalition Entrepreneurship Program (ABCEP), a Guaranteed Loan/Grant Training Program, funded by the City of Aiken and a partnership with Security Federal Bank.

The occasion will occur in the new City Council Chambers located at 111 Chesterfield Street South on Tuesday, May 17, at 6 PM.
At this phase of the program, the ABCEP congratulates 40 entrepreneurs and small business owners who met all of the qualifications and completed 10 business courses. The recipients will be awarded grants totaling $142,500 designed to assist in succeeding in an ever-changing business world. The grants are funded through a portion of the City of Aiken’s allocation from the American Rescue Plan Act.
