On June 14, 2021, Aiken City Council approved changes to water and sewer rates. The changes are now effective and will first appear in the July 2021 statement.
An average residential customer using various cubic feet of water and sewer per month will see the following increases below.
Increase for 800 cubic ft
Water $0.85 Sewer $1.77 Total = $2.62
Increase for 400 cubic ft
Water $0.47 Sewer $1.01 Total = $1.48
Increase for 200 cubic ft
Water $0.31 Sewer $0.63 Total = $0.94
