On May 14, Aiken City Council approved changes to water and sewer rates. The changes will go into effect June 1, 2018 and will first appear on July statements. As an example, an average residential customer using 800 cubic feet of water per month will see their water bill charge increase approximately 39 cents per month. That same customer, billed for 800 cubic feet of sewer per month, will see their sewer bill will increase by approximately $3.34 per month.
