The City of Aiken’s Energy and Environmental Committee is preparing for its final – in a series of three – Solar 101 Workshop for this Fall.  This workshop is designed to educate community members on how solar power works, how it is currently being utilized and can be utilized in Aiken and the state of South Carolina as a whole, and the next steps for consumers considering implementing solar power for their own benefit.

This third Workshop will be held this Thursday, November 16 at 6:30PM at Smith-Hazel Recreation Center (400 Kershaw St. NE, Aiken).

Speakers include Elise Fox with the Savannah River National Laboratory and Sara Hummel Rajca with SolarizeSC.
