AIKEN COUNTY FARMERS MARKET
Oct. 21 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Autumn is in the air! The City of Aiken Parks, Recreation, and Tourism department will host our annual Fall Farm Fest on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Aiken County Farmers Market, 115 Williamsburg St. SE. This free family event is a great way to support local farmers and growers by shopping for fantastic fall produce while participating in fall themed activities including a pumpkin decorating contest, touch-a-tractor, and greeting horses from Aiken Equine Rescue.
In addition to the best farm fresh produce, fun seasonal snacks such as hot cocoa, popcorn, cider, and cotton candy will be available for purchase, along with other items such as baked goods, honey, and handmade crafts! Information vendors including the Aiken High School chapter of Future Farmers of America will also be on site.
Children are invited to participate in our annual pumpkin decorating contest (paint a pumpkin for ages 5-8, and pumpkin carving for ages 9-12). Participation is free! Interested parties may pick up pumpkins at the Aiken County Farmers Market between 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 14. Finished pumpkins need to be returned to the Aiken County Farmers Market by 10:00 a.m. on the day of the event. Prizes are available in each category.
Please note the market is open its usual hours 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. on Oct 21.
The City of Aiken Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism invites people of all ability levels to enjoy programs, parks, and facilities. Individuals needing special assistance to participate should notify PRT Administrative Office 48 hours in advance.
