Aiken’s fourth annual State of the City Address is sure to draw hundreds of residents to the AECOM Center for the Performing Arts on January 27, 2020, to hear the City’s Mayor discuss recent accomplishments and a vision for the year ahead.

A quintessential feature of Mayor Rick Osbon’s address will be the presentation of the Aiken Award to incredibly dedicated and deserving Aikenites for their lifetime of dedication and commitment to improving the quality of life in our community. Last year’s recipients were Rick Steele, Anne Campbell, and Lucinda Kenner.

In his address, Mayor Osbon will discuss, as the event is named, the state of our city. His remarks, which will include the 70th Aniversary of The Savannah River Site, are sure to be a celebration of the many fascinating people, places, and businesses that make Aiken “A Place Like No Other.”

The event is organized and executed by City employees and many volunteers, all dedicated to the making of a memorable evening.
