The City of Aiken Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department in collaboration with the Juvenile Arbitration Program, Golden Harvest Food Bank and Eat Smart Move More Aiken County will be offering a Food Gives Us….A Hunger and Malnutrition education class.

Participants will learn about the importance of eating a variety of foods in order to get all the nutrients needed to be healthy. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn more about nutrition and food assistance programs available to community members residing in the CSRA.

The program will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The class will take place at the Lessie B. Price Aiken Senior & Youth Center located at 841 Edgefield Ave NW Aiken, SC 29801.

The program is intended for youth in 6th through 12th grade. Pre-registration is required as class size is limited.
There is no cost to attend this program.
