The City of Aiken and Dumpster Depot have joined forces to add another item to our recycling collection. Contrary to popular belief, previously prohibited pizza boxes can now be recycled, as long as they contain no food waste, with only small amounts of oil and grease contamination. So call in your pizza order tonight, and don’t forget to put the box in your bin! If you have any questions about this or other recycling dos and don’ts, please contact our Public Works Solid Waste Division at (803) 642-7613.
