Mother & Son Brunch at Smith-Hazel

Mother & Son Brunch at Smith-Hazel

In celebration of Mother’s Day, The City of Aiken Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department presents the Mother & Son Brunch to be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the Smith-Hazel Recreation Center. The brunch is for boys ages 2 to 13. Mothers and Sons will engage in several themed activities. Aunts and Grandmas may attend if mom cannot. Cost is $4.50 per person, and tickets must be purchased in advance at the Smith-Hazel Recreation Center. There will be lunch, prizes and lots of fun. Please call 803-642-7634 for more information.

42nd Season of the Hopelands Summer Concert Series Opens with the Aiken Concert Band

The 42nd Season of the Hopelands Summer Concert Series will begin Monday, May 2nd with a performance from the Aiken Concert Band. The performance will take place on the Roland H. Windham Performing Arts Stage at Hopelands and will begin at 7 pm, lasting approximately 60 minutes. This performance is presented by Security Federal Bank. In the event of inclement weather, this concert will be held in Gym 2 of the Odell Weeks Center on Whiskey Rd.
