Aiken, SC – The City of Aiken passed ordinance 11192020 on second reading at a City Council Meeting, November 19, that will require individuals to wear face-coverings/masks. The ordinance purposes to protect, preserve, and promote the general health, safety, and welfare of the community in certain situations and locations.
The original emergency City Ordinance that required the use of face coverings and other measures intended to safeguard against the spread of COVID-19 will expire today, November 16, 2020, at 12 noon.
