4 L’s Series!

The City of Aiken Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department presents the “4L’s Series” Living, Loving, & Lifelong Learning for Senior Adults! Classes will be at the Lessie B. Price Aiken Senior & Youth Center on 841 Edgefield Avenue NW Aiken, SC. The “4Ls” include a wide range of topics presented in a relaxed setting by an experienced teacher and designed to apply to the everyday life of seniors.
This monthly series begins Tuesday, September 12, 2023, 11:00 am-1:00 pm and will occur on the first Tuesday of each month.
Session Schedule 2023: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
September 12 – Computer 101 “Basic computer literacy”
October 3 – The Changing Brain “Aging vs. Dementia”
November 7 – Wellness “Fitness of mind, body, and spirit”
Session Schedule 2024; 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
February 6 – Brain Train “Keep Your Brain on Track!”
March 5 – Nutrition “Eating well & healthy cooking alternatives”
April 2 – Body Health “How to Care for Your Body”

The cost is $5 per session. Lunch will be provided, and attendees will have a chance to win door prizes.
The City of Aiken Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism invites people of all ability levels to enjoy programs, parks, and facilities. Individuals needing special assistance to participate should notify PRT Administrative Office 48 hours in advance.
