The City of Aiken Department of Parks and Recreation has announced the info for their Thanksgiving events. We invite the community to join in the fun and celebrate the season with each other!
October 23 – November 13
Seniors are invited to walk the Smith-Hazel trail and submit their miles. A turkey or gift card will be awarded to the person with the most miles walked. Forms can be picked up from the Smith-Hazel Recreation Center beginning Monday, October 16.

Thanksgiving Story Time
Tuesday November 14 at 4PM
Ages 8 and under (with an adult)
Odell Weeks Center – Rooms 6 & 7
Come out and listen to Thanksgiving stories! Ages 8 and under (with an adult). Each family in attendance will receive a free book. Cookies and juice will be served.

Tuesday November 21 at 4PM
Cost: $5 per child
Smith-Hazel Recreation Center
Take part in a Turkey Walk by seeing how many laps you can walk around the gym. Test your aim by seeing showing many baskets you can make in the Turkey Shootout. Prizes will be awarded for both activities.
