The City of Aiken Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department in partnership with the Clemson Cooperative Extension is launching a new youth program, Teen Cuisine a nutrition and cooking class. The program will take place over 6 class sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting June 10, 2019. Classes will be held from 10:00am-11:30am at the Lessie B. price Aiken Senior & Youth Center. The purpose of the class is to offer youth in grades 6-12 an opportunity to learn about adopting healthy lifestyle behaviors through nutrition, food safety, and food preparation lessons as well as engaging in physical activity components. There is no cost to attend this program.
