Aiken, SC – The City of Aiken passed ordinance 11192020 on second reading at a City Council Meeting, November 19, that will require individuals to wear face-coverings/masks. The ordinance purposes to protect, preserve, and promote the general health, safety, and welfare of the community in certain situations and locations.
The Aiken City Council will hold a special meeting on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at 6 p.m. to discuss the second reading of an ordinance requiring individuals to wear face coverings/masks in food and commercial establishments which are open to the public and other matters related to it.
