The Aiken City Council will have a special meeting Thursday, November 12, at 5 PM to vote on extending the existing ordinance or implementing a first reading to require individuals to wear face coverings in certain situations and locations. The ordinance was implemented to protect, preserve, and promote the community’s general health, safety, and welfare related to the potential exposure of City residents, employees, and visitors to COVID-19.

The agenda for the meeting was amended late Wednesday afternoon and can found with the link below.
