City of Aiken Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department Announces Start Smart Registration
Start Smart is an instructional program that provides children ages 3-5 years old (age 3 as of May 1, 2024) exposure to physical and social activity through sports. Parents work together with their children to learn all of the basic skills. Participants can sign up for baseball, soccer, or both sports. Each sport will meet once per week for six weeks starting the week of June 6, 2024 at the Odell Weeks Activities Center. Parent participation is required at all sessions. Classes are Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:45pm.
Registration for Start Smart begins April 30, 2024 and will remain open through May 13, 2024.
Registration fee is $65 for one sport, or $110 for both.
Birth certificate is required to register. To register, please visit the Odell Weeks Activity Center, located at:
