The City of Aiken has implemented a strategy focused on changing the way citizens think about engaging with the City by investing in various social media outlets to connect with the residents, businesses, and organizations that call Aiken home. Our goal is to humanize government through this strategy by fostering transparency, being agile, and raising awareness around initiatives contributing to the City’s growth.

The City of Aiken uses 4Aiken, a 24-hour service, to stream live events such as meetings and provide up-to-date informational video and event content. The 4Aiken streaming app can be downloaded on AppleTV, Roku, and Amazon Fire. It can also be viewed on the City’s website.
