Traffic Advisory Whiskey Road
The City of Aiken Engineering and Utilities Department announces a lane closure on Whiskey Rd in front of O’Charleys restaurant, located at 168 South Aiken Lane. The far-right lane heading northbound will be blocked due to water repair work. Effective November 30th, 2023, beginning at 9:00 am until 3:00 PM.
Vehicles traveling in this area must be mindful of utility workers and obey all warning signs or cones.

The City of Aiken Engineering & Utilities Department announces a water main break located at ORANGEBURG STREET SOUTHEAST and CARPENTER LANE SOUTHEAST. There are approximately 15 impacted service connections with low pressure or no water. A Boil Water Advisory will be issued once the water service is fully restored.

The City of Aiken Engineering & Utilities Department announces a water main break located at 3738 SUMMERHILL AVENUE and PELLET DRIVE. There are approximately 17 impacted service connections with low pressure or no water. A Boil Water Advisory will be issued once the water service is fully restored.

Road and Traffic Advisory: Proactive Tree Pruning on South Boundary Avenue

Please be advised that there will be possible detours and/or closures in the vicinity of South Boundary Ave and Williamsburg Street progressing west to Whiskey Road on Monday, November 6, 2023, beginning at 8 a.m. Please use caution when driving in this area.
The City of Aiken will conduct proactive pruning on the Live Oaks along South Boundary Avenue starting on November 6. This work will be intermittent from November through February.
