At the regular meeting held on April 22, 2019, the Aiken City Council adopted a resolution that the new Senior & Youth Center located next to Eustis Park be called the “Lessie B. Price Aiken Senior & Youth Center”

Lessie B. Price has served the citizens of the City of Aiken since 1987 as a City Councilmember as the first African American woman elected at-large in the City then subsequently representing District 2 when the City adopted the 4-2-1 election plan.
