Aiken Dog Park
The Aiken Dog Park is a joint project between City of Aiken and Aiken SPCA and is available to residents and non-residents. Open to all sizes of dogs the facility is split into three areas, one for small dogs, one for big dogs and a common area where both large and small dogs can roam free. There is also a wading pool for those dogs that love to get wet! The park is open seven days a week from sunrise until sundown.
Before using the park pet owners must…
Though the Aiken Dog Park is open to all dogs and their owners, regardless of residency, it is advised that small children not enter the park.
It is recommended that children younger than 16 be accompanied by an adult and that children should not be allowed to approach a strange dog without the owner’s presence and approval.
Pet owners can register their dogs for access to the park at the Aiken SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare (Aiken SPCA) located at 199 Willow Run Road.
Pet registration in the City is required only one time.
As required by state law, all pets must have current rabies vaccinations. Owners must provide a current copy of their dogs rabies certificate at the time of registration. Rabies tags are not excepted.
If the pet has a microchip, the microchip number must be provided at the time of registration.
