As part of our management agreement with the Aiken Land Conservancy, we allocated money approved by voters from our Capital Projects Sales Tax to construct an observation deck. It can be used by school groups or reserved for private rental. It will have a teaching area of just over 1,000 square feet with tables available for rental by school groups having field trips at our Carolina Bay. Benches were constructed in a horseshoe design so audiences can easily observe presenters. A large fan will provide cooling during warmer days. The observation deck is located next to our Carolina Bay. Parking is available on Price Avenue. Reservations for it can be made by calling H. O. Weeks Center staff at (803) 642-7631.
