City Manager Stuart Bedenbaugh announced the appointment of Mike Przybylowicz (Prz-bylo-wicz) as Director of Engineering and Utilities effective immediately. Przybylowicz most recently served as interim Engineering and Utilities Director.
Upon announcing the appointment Bedenbaugh stated, “I appreciate the work Mike does for our city. He has my full trust and that of the City Council. His experience working with contractors, developers, and staff will be essential as he assumes his role as Director of Engineering and Utilities. He also has the city’s best interests as an efficient steward of our resources.”
Przybylowicz, a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Engineering, is certified as a stormwater inspector and a certified stormwater plan reviewer certified by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC).
Mike is married to Kim Przybylowicz. He has four children and two grandchildren. He also holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Bible/Biblical Studies from Liberty University.
