City of Aiken Business Licensing Information for General/Sub-Contractors

Any out-of-town contractor will first obtain a one-time job business license. This license fee will be calculated on the contract amount of the job and be good for the duration of that job. Please note that all Contractors that have subs working under them will need to make sure each of those subs obtains their own City of Aiken business license. Failure to do so can result in delays, stop work orders, or other fines.
